FUGIAN PROVINCE, China (AP)-- In a rural village in southeast China, a young boy named Lu, 13, has become a local celebrity and is now drawing attention from the scientific community worldwide. According to Lu, he was working in the fields when he was struck by lightning and he became unconscious. The villagers managed to move him to a local medical center and when he woke up, he said that he felt different. He claimed that he felt more energetic and could work exceedingly long hours without feeling tired.
After recovering, Lu underwent testing and researchers found that he was capable of generating current large enough to power a 1.5 watt light bulb. Scientists around the world have been flocking to this small rural village to see this amazing feat for themselves. He is currently undergoing further testing to discover the source of his seemingly super-human powers.
